TEEL Construction builds retail across Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland, from individual store fit-outs to full shopping centre redevelopment, with a retail history going back to the mid-1980s.
Our brand work includes Warby Parker, CELINE, OAK + FORT, KHAADI, MAVI, Janus et Cie, Diamonds Direct, C. Wonder, and Zadig & Voltaire. At the centre scale we have worked on The Shops at Stonefield in Charlottesville, The Shops at Avenir in Vienna, Laurel Pond Shopping Center in Laurel, and Shoppes of Foxchase in Alexandria.
Our longest-running retail relationship is Tysons Corner Center. The company worked there as a subcontractor during the mid-1980s redevelopment, picked up the associated tenant build-outs as it completed, and has been working at the mall in one capacity or another ever since. That has included an 80,000 square foot transformation delivered over two years, demolishing an existing tenant space and redesigning it for multiple new tenants.
Retail runs on opening dates and brand standards, often inside operating centres with restricted delivery windows and night work. We handle both.
Recent retail projects include Warby Parker, CELINE, OAK + FORT, KHAADI, and CAMP at Tysons Corner Center; Janus et Cie in Bethesda; and Diamonds Direct in Rockville.
Since 1987, TEEL has built its reputation on fast-tracked schedules and Zero Punch List completion.
